Staff Spotlight - Natalie!

This week, we're taking the time to sit down with our Registered Manager for Beacon House, Natalie!

(Featured over the Christmas period, being pranked by our team and one of our young people who wrapped everything in her office!)

Natalie joined Acedia Care back in April 2025 when Beacon House was initially opening its doors as a brand-new solo service.

Here's what Natalie had to say about her experience working with Acedia Care so far: 

"From the early stages of the home opening, a young person was identified as a suitable match for the service, and myself, along with the team, tailored the service to suit their needs. Personalising the space to ensure there was a range of sensory tools to help them live comfortably day to day."

"It has been a humbling experience, having our young person move into their new home, and witnessing the positive impact this has had on them and their wider family.

The progress our team have helped our young person to achieve is amazing and far exceeds what I thought was possible back in April 2025, which demonstrates their dedication and enthusiasm as a team of whom I'm very proud of."

"Acedia Care is due to open a new home in the near future and has a number of exciting development opportunities, of which I look forward to being part of."
